Special Issue: Sustainable Optimization of Energy Systems

Dear Colleagues,

Over the past years of the new millennium, investment in energy systems dramatically increased across the globe, and several efforts have been put into the optimization of processes in energy industries and replacement of traditional energy sources by sustainable ones; however, there are still challenges to improve the system performance, especially when the sustainable matters are accounted. Therefore, we invite contributions for a Special Issue entitled: “Sustainable Optimization of Energy Systems”, which is keen on topics including, but not limited to any of the following:

  • Conceptual and theoretical approaches to improve the energy systems
  • Methodology for optimization of energy resources and applications
  • Economic aspects associated with optimization of energy systems
  • Renewable and green energy resource assessment
  • Sustainable Energy diversity, developments, and technologies
  • Fundamental and practical applications for sustainable energy
  • Reviews of the literature within sustainability and performance optimization
