The Article Processing Charges for accepted submissions in the International Journal of Architectural Engineering Technology are US$ 300.
The International Journal of Architectural Engineering Technology is an independent title. It is not sponsored by any university, group, or institution. All the papers are published with Open Access, which allows a wider spread of research through public access, a greater number of citations, and recognition of authors.
It involves high costs to support the journals’ editorial office, production processes, and hosting it for online access. Therefore, open access publishing costs have to be met by the author or by the author’s institution or research funding agency.
The only revenue generated is through Article Processing Charges (APC), which is used to maintain the quality of the journals and bear the publishing expenses, such as office expenditures, salaries of staff, DOIs, domain, English editing etc.
There are no article submission charges, and the initial evaluation of all the articles is done free of cost. However, it should be noted that APCs are only to be paid after the paper is accepted for publication.
Authors whose research is not funded by any organization can apply for a 35% discount. Any further discounts may be given on a case-to-case basis and are subjected to the approval of editors and management. Applications for discounts should be submitted initially, at the time of manuscript submission; otherwise, they will not be entertained.
APC waivers are offered to authors belonging to low-income countries, as per the World Bank. Authors can submit applications regarding waivers during the manuscript submission process. On special requests, waivers may also be provided to authors not belonging to low-income countries. All applications will be evaluated based on the quality and importance of research and the author’s financial stability.
Method of Payment
The invoice for the payment of the APC will be emailed to the corresponding author after the acceptance of the manuscript by our accounting department. APCs should be paid within 15 working days.
There are two methods of payment:
- Debit/Credit card
- Bank Transfer: This method will incur bank charges of US $30.
Please note that the Article Processing Charges are exclusive of local taxes that may apply depending on the author’s country and government policies.
