Aims and Scope:

Cement concrete is the main component of construction for our modern civilization. Reports show that one tonne of cement produces one tonne of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere, which is implicated in global warming and climate change.

Today, fly ash is the most potential replacement material in cement concrete due to its lower carbon footprint and often better life cycle performance. A high volume (above 50%) of fly ash pozzolanic material, consisting of siliceous and aluminous compounds, replaces cement in a concrete mix. The modified concrete achieves higher strength, porosity, and heat of hydration and microstructure. It is very economical and environmental-friendly compared to standard cement paste.

This Special Issue is focused on studying, analyzing, and understanding various ongoing research works in High Volume Fly Ash Based High-Performance Concrete.
